Anything that can’t be made into something beautiful and functional for your kitchen is either used as biofuel to heat our facility or sold as sawdust to local farms that use it for animal bedding. • Only source lumber from a select group of suppliers who share our commitment to sustainable forestry practices. Proper forest management delivers a renewable approach to climate solutions. • Each board is unique because we are using a natural material. The grain and coloring of the wood will be different on every board. Wood does not dull the edge of your knife as quickly as other hard surfaces like glass, bamboo, plastic, and other composite boards. |
